Double rainbow

 

Track and field is back!

Matilda ran the 400m. She got 12th place with 1:35. Pretty good after not running for 9 months!

Bea did long jump. She got second the last place, but had fun competing against kids up to 8 years old. 

 Both Matilda and Bea are doing track and field this summer, but due to camps, not as many meets. They had their first meet last week. 

Acadia camping

We spent 3 nights in Acadia and had loads of fun. 

Mount Desert Campground was beautiful. 

We hiked the Beehive!

And Mt Gorham

Bea did a great job navigating the climbing. 

Ended a 6 mile hike at Thunder Hole, which wasn’t very thunderous. 

The Azalea Gardens were beautiful. 

Highly recommend Abel’s for a lovely meal on the water. 

They were a little tired

And they became junior rangers!

And we celebrated the heat wave with ice cream.
