While she still sleeps a lot, she is wakeful a lot more of the day. We got to try out the Skip Hop playground today. She liked the sounds, though she can't really see the animals and use her hands to manipulate them yet.

Getting out of the house
We made the first trip walking around town today. We went to the Buds class at Birth Roots. The moby wrap is a wonderful thing. I will definitely be using it around the house.

After their visit my parents sent this photo of me as a newborn. Aren't genes an amazing and powerful thing!? Now let's just hope she gets Julia's metabolism. 
First doctor visit!
We had our first time out of the house. She pooped twice for the doctor and had gained 3 oz back already!

We came home!
Everyone is healthy and we managed to get to the car in ABOVE freezing weather! Luckily we had packed warm enough clothing seri gas we packed the hospital bag after my water broke....
