Splash Pad

We had lots of fun today at the splash pad the water felt so good!

Portland Pride

Yesterday was the Portland Pride festival. We enjoyed the parade and went to the park and saw lots of people. 

Bed time

Last night it was getting to be Matilda's bedtime and Craig was playing her ukulele. She was pawing at the music and trying to rip it out of the notebook. I turned to her and asked if she was ready for bed. She looked at me solemnly, nodded her head yes and walked to the bottom of the stairs and touched the gate. So sweet. She went to bed like a dream. 

This picture is from tonight. She was deciding what books to read before bed. She chose "Egg," "Where the Wild Things Are," and "Hardscrabble Harvest." She is learning that her board books are not the only good books in her bookshelf. 

Visiting lighthouses

Aunt Elise was in town for a couple of days before she starts her fancy new job. So we did a little mini tour of some local lighthouse and at some lobster rolls in Cape Elizabeth.

She doesn't know what they are, but she loves to say undies!

Cleaning Miles

It has been really rainy the past few days. Matilda has figured out what we do every time we let the dog out.
