I am 26 lbs, 34.5" tall and have a 19.5" head.

I can:
ask for specific foods I want
count to 5 with help on 4
take my pants and diaper off by myself
tell when a character looks obviously happy or sad in a book
identify people I know in pictures, mommy, daddy, myself, oma, pop pop, grandma, Charlie, even when the picture was taken many years ago.
Speak in 2 and 3 word phrases

I love:
puzzles
dancing
granola
my dollhouse
airplanes
Gerald and Piggy books
hot tea

Cute story about the picture, I told Matilda it was time to take her picture and asked her to sit on the chair. She pulled herself up and sat nicely next to the monster. Then, I asked her to smile nicely for the camera, and she did.

Horse-filled weekend

We saw a pitiful horsesthisweeke d. First, we went on a carousel ride at the mall.

She got upset she it wouldn't start.

But she had fun when it did start. Though you can't tell from the picture.

Today, we went on a horse and carriage ride through the Old Port. We got to meet the horses after.

She wouldn't pet them, but she had a lot of fun.

Dollhouse

Matilda was introduced to doll houses yesterday and begging to play with them again. I guess it was time to pull the one we have out of the basement.

I can do it!

She has to do everything herself. Get dressed, put on socks and shoes, get in the car and car seat, and now bring groceries in the house.

Must eat

Sushi! I definitely have a toddler on my hands. I mentioned sushi on our walk home and she demanded it for dinner. So much fun having an almost 2 year old crying "sushi" on the street. Luckily a sushi restaurant wasn't too busy and she was able to get her eel avocado roll.

First Made Up Song

Matilda wrote her first song. She has been singing it in different tones and volumes with different inflections for days.

With the imaginary song, now she is afraid of the dark!

First Imaginary Play

She has been doing this for a few months now, not sure why it is only that part of the TV that dispenses "tea," but that is where she thinks it comes from.

Big news!

Someone just peed on the potty for the first time! She was so excited. I told her I was proud of her and she said "proudofyou".

Poncho

We've got a little model on our hands.
